Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church

How we began and who we've become.

Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church began in a Naples storefront in 1979 and has grown into a caring fellowship of more than 550 active and affiliate members who gather under the tall steeples of our current facility.

We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Peace River Presbytery.

We welcome you to join us as we share of our love of Christ and God's creation through worship, ministry, education, music, mission, and fellowship.

We are a people who worship together.

Worship is at the very heart of our life together—worship that transforms and energizes and sends us forth eager to serve. We glorify God in the music we make, the scripture we read, and the Word proclaimed. We hope you will join us on Sunday mornings for our traditional worship service at 10:00 am.  Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church is a safe place for all people to worship regardless of race, creed, age, cultural background or sexual orientation.

We welcome all God's children to join us "Under the Spire!"

We are a people of faith.

We seek to involve everyone who comes to VPC in a ministry that reaches their hearts. We offer weekly worship, adult bible study, Sunday School, Christian Education for children and Youth, Wednesday Night Lights, Vacation Bible School, Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, Alleluia Choir (children and youth), and many faithful members that help to serve as Deacons and Elders in our church leadership as well as Stephen Ministers who care for one another.

We have a place for you at VPC! Reach out, and let us know where you want to serve! We always strive to honor and glorify God through our worship, education, music and leadership. Help us be the "light of Christ" in the world.

We are a people who care for others.

Mission is at the center of Vanderbilt’s ministry, and our goal is a Mission program so vital it transforms lives—ours as well as the lives of those we seek to serve. Through the leadership of our Mission Team, we have helped many local organizations, including: Habitat for Humanity, Misión Peniel, Weekend Power Pack, Collier Harvest, Café of Life, Grace Place, The Salvation Army, New Horizons, Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance, and Relay for Life. We also support the PCUSA in their Global Mission Efforts.

If you have a heart for Missions, we have a place for you "Under the Spire!"

Our church welcomes you with open arms.

We take seriously the stewardship of the property entrusted to our care. We are dedicated to providing our congregation and our community the space in which to grow through worship, study, and fellowship. Our facility was designed with the tall steeple and Sanctuary at its center representing Christ’s body—the side wings with their smaller steeples representing our Lord’s outstretched arms. To live into that design, the hearts and minds of our members must be open, wide as the arms of Christ.

If you have an open and loving heart, come be a part of our church family.
