VPC has Christian Education for Children and Youth!
Heather Mikes is the Director of Christian Education and with her loving and outstanding leadership, we have many opportunities for children, youth and families.
Sunday School
We invite all children and families to attend our 10:00 am worship service. During the beginning of the service, we invite children to gather up front for a special children’s message. After we sing “Jesus Loves Me,” children and youth ages PreK-3 through High School may go to Sunday school or families may choose to worship together in the Sanctuary. During the summer months (May - September) our team of Sunday School volunteers holds Summer Sunday School.

Family Led Worship
Our young families, children and youth help to lead worship once a month for Family Led Worship. They serve as greeters, ushers, liturgists, acolytes and our Alleluia Choir sings during the Children's Moment. It is an opportunity for our families to participate more fully in worship and for our members to see our children and youth in leadership.

Wednesday Night Lights
Wednesday Night Lights is our mid-week gathering where we Study, Serve, Pray and Play. We meet at 5:30pm in Fellowship Hall for dinner and then split into age appropriate groups to go do different stations to learn about God! Some highlights include, Gingerbread House Decorating, Glow Night, Mr. Rogers Night, Earth Night and the Lego Habitat Build Challenge.

Vacation Bible School
For a week in the summer, we hold Vacation Bible School from 9am-12pm. A group of dedicated volunteers helps to make this fun-filled week a reality. This event is an outreach to families that may not attend church and is a way for our young families to grow together and share the love they find at VPC.
