"Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but
rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Weddings

The celebration of marriage

The congregation and staff recognize this is an especially important time in your lives, and we want the steps leading up to your wedding, as well as the ceremony itself, to be meaningful and rewarding.  A member of our Wedding Committee will contact you to assist in coordinating your plans.  That individual will also be present at the rehearsal and at the ceremony to insure both events run smoothly.   For more information about weddings, please contact the Communications Coordinator.

We believe we are called "to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to glorify God through worship, and to serve others in Christ's name."  One of the ways we proclaim, glorify, and serve is to make our church available for the celebration of marriage.  The Sanctuary and Chapel are sacred areas of worship, and all of our space fulfills important functions - education, music, fellowship, and administration.  We consider ourselves blessed to have this beautiful place as the center of our lives, and we are privileged to share the facility with others.

About the Wedding Guild

The Wedding Guild is made up of church members who attend the rehearsal and wedding, and make sure things run smoothly. They communicate with the bride prior to the wedding and ask questions that will enable them to provide support to the couple on the wedding day.
