Mission Opportunities and Involvement

ECHO is a global Christian organization that equips people with agricultural resources and skills to reduce hunger and improve the lives of the poor.  Located in North Fort Myers, ECHO empowers small-scale farmers to increase their harvests and the nutritional diversity of their crops.  They educate, equip and share sustainable solutions to hunger, which in turn promote sustainable farming techniques, nutritional plants and appropriate technologies.  Their purpose is to help those who are teaching farmers around the world know how to be more effective in producing enough to meet the needs of their families and their communities. They in turn teach others and the ECHO effect continues! In 32 years of assisting development workers around the world, ECHO has become the “go-to” organization for challenges faced by individuals and organizations.  www.echonet.org
