Presbyterian Coffee Project
Many of you have already discovered the joy of the Presbyterian Coffee Project!  There is a permanent cart in Fellowship Hall and we have sold LOTS of coffee, tea, baking chocolate and hot chocolate mix.  We have now added some absolutely delicious chocolate bars!   We do not make a profit on these sales— this program is a ministry to our congregation and to the growers.  All of the small growers of the coffee, tea and chocolate are paid a living wage in their countries—that is the basis for the Fair Trade/Equal Exchange project.  So, the next time you are in Fellowship Hall, you can support social justice AND enjoy some outstanding coffee, tea and chocolate!

Relay For Life
The Family Ministry Team,  the Vanderbilt Cancer Support Group and Vanderbilt sponsor a VPC Team for the Annual Relay For Life for the American Cancer Society each April.  It is a memorable experience for all.  Share in the spirit of many coming together to celebrate and support the many lives touched by cancer.  For more information, or to be a part of the Relay Planning Team, contact the church office.  Held at Gulfview Middle School (255 - 6th St. S., Naples)

Habitat For Humanity Work Days
At 7:30 a.m. every Wednesday morning, Habitat For Humanity workers meet at VPC and take the church van to Immokalee to spend time working to eliminate poverty housing in Collier County.  They bring a bag lunch, and a willingness to participate in building communities that truly change lives.  Tools and construction skills are not necessary.  Plan to arrive back at the church at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Vanderbilt Tote Bags
These handsome green shopping bags, made of recycled material, are available for purchase at the Fair Trade Coffee Cart during coffee hour on Sundays and at the front desk during the week.  Suggested donation is $5 per tote bag.  Sponsored by the VPC Christian Witness in Public Life (CWPL) Team.
