Community
Community- noun (com · mu · ni · ty): a unified body of individuals
Plug Into Your NEIGHBORHOOD!!!Communities typically consist of simple boundaries tracing a neighborhood or town. Do you have a true sense of belonging in your community? Does it support you, celebrate victories and always encourage? At Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church we believe that a community is more than simple boundaries. We feel it is the relationships you build, struggles you share and triumphs you enjoy that define a community. We want to be the place where you and your neighbors find acceptance, belonging, encouragement and lasting relationships. Ask your neighbors to come join our community any and every Sunday for worship. And don’t forget, we’re open 365 days a year To Proclaim ▪ To Glorify ▪ To Equip ▪ To Serve ! and to remind you that that we are all called to make our faithful witness for Christ. We are all called to make our witness for Christ. We are people who have seen, heard and experienced God's love in Christ in our own lives and in the lives of others. We are called to share what we have seen, heard and experienced with others that they might recognize and respond to God's love also. It is fitting that Evangelism Sunday be observed near the beginning of the new church activity year. We are excited about the new opportunities to grow as disciples through worship, learning and sharing in mission in our congregation. It is natural to invite others to become disciples and share in our excitement about being faithful witnesses for Christ. And where better to start than in your neighborhood … at Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church.
